Winmate R12IT3S-MRM2 12.1″ Marine Panel PC with Intel Core i7-1165G7 and IP66 Front

A bridge console leaves little room, and whatever goes into it has to survive salt air, vibration and a ship’s power supply while staying readable at night. The R12IT3S-MRM2 is Winmate’s 12.1 inch marine panel PC for that job: a fanless computer with an Intel Core i7-1165G7, an IP66 front side and a powder-coated aluminum bezel designed for panel (flush) mounting in a bridge or control console.

The display is a 500 nit 1024 x 768 XGA panel with 1000:1 contrast and 178 degree viewing angles, and a front dimming knob sets the backlight from nearly 0% to 100% for night watches. Resistive touch is fitted as standard, with AR glass as an option. The Intel Core i7-1165G7 runs at up to 4.7 GHz with one DDR4-2400 SO-DIMM socket, 4 GB as standard and options to 32 GB. Storage is a 128 GB M.2 2242 B-key SSD with options to 512 GB, or an M.2 2280 NVMe SSD up to 4 TB, and Windows 10 or 11 IoT Enterprise or Linux Ubuntu 22.04 can be supplied.

Two 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ45 ports on Intel Ethernet controllers connect to the ship network, alongside two USB 3.0 ports, one RS-232 port with two RS-232 or two isolated RS-422/485 ports as an option and a VGA output with HDMI as an option for a second screen. Within the same line the R15IT3S-MRM2 is the 15 inch version with a 2000:1 panel.

Power is a 24 V DC input with isolation that accepts 9 to 36 V DC, drawing 55 W typical, and a 12 V 84 W AC adapter is supplied. The fanless design operates from -15 °C to 55 °C at 5 to 95% humidity, with a 15 G, 11 ms shock rating and vibration to 0.7 g under DNVGL CG-0339 (Class A). Winmate states it is built and tested according to DNVGL-CG-0339, IEC 60945 and IACS E10, and it carries CE and FCC marks. It measures 337.2 x 293.2 x 65.8 mm, weighs 4.5 kg and flush mounts with the four M6 bolts supplied, or on VESA.
