Winmate R15IK3S-VMC3(HB) 15″ Vehicle Mount Panel PC with Intel Core i5-7300U and Optional 1000 Nit Display

A driver terminal on a forklift, reach truck or yard tractor has to be readable in a bright loading bay, talk to the vehicle and survive vibration and knocks. The R15IK3S-VMC3(HB) is Winmate’s 15 inch vehicle mount panel PC for those jobs, with an Intel Core i5-7300U in a fanless aluminum housing with anti-corrosion treatments and an IP65 front.

The display is a 300 nit 1024 x 768 panel with 2000:1 contrast and 176 degree viewing angles, with a 1000 nit high-brightness sunlight-readable panel as an option. A built-in light sensor drives auto dimming, with day/night mode, brightness and key lock buttons on the front. Five-wire resistive touch or anti-reflective protection glass are options. The Intel Core i5-7300U runs at up to 3.5 GHz with one DDR4-2133 SO-DIMM socket, 4 GB as standard with 8 GB or 16 GB as options, and a 128 GB M.2 2242 SSD with 256 GB or 512 GB as options. TPM 2.0 is on board, and Windows 10 IoT Enterprise or Linux Ubuntu 20.04 can be supplied.

I/O includes two Gigabit LAN ports, two USB 3.2 Gen 1×1 Type-A ports, one RS-232/422/485 port and one RS-232 port, an optional HDMI 1.4 output, and a terminal block with four digital inputs and four outputs or two CAN bus channels. GPS and WWAN or WLAN are options, with M.2 slots for the SSD and a Wi-Fi module. The R10IK3S-VMT2(HB) is the 10.4 inch vehicle mount model.

Power is 9 to 36 V DC with isolation on a three-pin terminal block, with 6 to 60 V DC input and ignition on/off delay as options. The unit runs from -10 °C to 55 °C and is vibration tested to MIL-STD-810G Method 514.6, with shock to Method 516.6 as an option. It measures 398 x 308 x 58 mm, weighs 4.2 kg and mounts on 100 x 100 mm VESA or an optional yoke stand. It carries CE and FCC marks.
