Winmate R15IP7T-CHC3 15″ Chassis Panel PC with Intel Pentium N4200 and 1024 x 768 Display

Many HMIs sit indoors, on a machine arm, a desk or a wall bracket, and need a fanless computer with a clear screen and enough USB and serial ports to connect the kit around them. The R15IP7T-CHC3 is Winmate’s 15 inch chassis panel PC for those installs, with an Intel Pentium N4200 in a fanless metal housing for VESA mounting.

The display is a 300 nit 1024 x 768 panel with 2000:1 contrast and 176 degree viewing angles, with a brightness adjustment knob, resistive touch as an option and protection glass without touch as an alternative. The Intel Pentium N4200 runs at 1.1 GHz with bursts up to 2.5 GHz, with two DDR3L-1866 SO-DIMM sockets holding 4 GB as standard and 8 GB as an option. Storage is a 128 GB M.2 2242 SSD with 256 GB or 512 GB as options, and SATA III connections for 2.5 inch SSD or HDD drives are available as an option. TPM 2.0 is on board, with Windows 10 IoT Enterprise or Linux Ubuntu 20.04 available.

The rear I/O is generous for a panel PC: two Gigabit LAN ports on Intel controllers, four USB 3.2 Gen 1×1 Type-A ports, one RS-232/422/485 port and one RS-232 port, mic in, line out and two speakers. A DisplayPort 1.2 output drives a second screen at up to 4096 x 2160 at 60 Hz, with HDMI 1.4 at up to 3840 x 2160 at 30 Hz and VGA as options. A PCIe 2.0 x1 slot takes an add-in card, and an M.2 2230 E-key slot takes an optional Wi-Fi module. The R15IP7T-CHA3WT is the wide temperature version with a 500 nit panel.

Power is 12 V DC on a four-pin DIN connector, with a 100 to 240 V AC 12 V 50 W adapter supplied. The unit operates from 0 °C to 50 °C at 10 to 90% humidity, non-condensing, and stores from -10 °C to 60 °C. It measures 360 x 290 x 70 mm, weighs 4.2 kg and mounts on 75 x 75 or 100 x 100 mm VESA. It carries CE and FCC marks.
