Winmate R15IT7T-CHC3 15″ XGA Chassis Panel PC with Intel Core i5-1135G7 and PCIe Expansion

Plenty of machine-side terminals need a little more than a sealed box with a screen: a spare card slot for a fieldbus or capture card, two serial ports for legacy kit and room for a second display. The R15IT7T-CHC3 is Winmate’s 15 inch chassis panel PC, a fanless metal-housed computer with a built-in 4:3 display that hangs on a VESA arm, wall bracket or desk stand.

It runs an Intel Core i5-1135G7, a Tiger Lake processor from 2.4 GHz up to 4.2 GHz, with the vPro i5-1145G7E listed as an alternative. Memory starts at one DDR4-3200 SO-DIMM with 4 GB and can grow to 64 GB across two sockets, while storage is an M.2 NVMe SSD from 128 GB up to 2 TB plus an optional 2.5 inch SATA bay. The 1024 x 768 screen is rated at 300 nits with a 2000:1 contrast ratio and 176° viewing angles. Resistive touch is an option, as is plain protection glass for display-only use, and Windows 11 IoT Enterprise, Windows 11 Pro, Windows 10 IoT Enterprise or Ubuntu 22.04 can be supplied as the operating system image.

On the rear are four USB 3.2 Type-A ports, one RS-232/422/485 and one RS-232 port, two Gigabit Ethernet ports on Intel controllers, a DisplayPort 1.4 output with HDMI 2.0 as an option, and mic-in and line-out. An M.2 E-key slot takes a Wi-Fi and Bluetooth module, and a PCIe 4.0 x16 slot (x4 signal) takes an add-in card such as extra serial, fieldbus or capture I/O. The R15IT7T-CHA3WT is the wide temperature twin with a 500 nit panel, and the R15IT7T-PMC3 carries the same electronics in a panel mount housing.

Power is 12 V DC on a DIN 4-pin connector, with a 100 to 240 V AC adapter rated at 120 W supplied. The R15IT7T-CHC3 operates from 0 to 50 °C at 10 to 90% humidity non-condensing, stores from -10 to 60 °C and carries CE and FCC marks. It measures 360 x 290 x 70 mm, weighs 4.2 kg and mounts on 75 x 75 or 100 x 100 mm VESA.
