Winmate R17IT7T-CHM1 17″ SXGA Chassis Panel PC with Intel Core i5-1135G7 and PCIe Expansion

When a terminal has to show a full line overview, trend charts or a work instruction beside the controls, a 15 inch screen soon feels cramped. The R17IT7T-CHM1 is Winmate’s 17 inch chassis panel PC: a fanless, metal-housed computer with a built-in 5:4 display that hangs on a VESA arm, wall bracket or desk stand and keeps a PCIe slot free for extra I/O.

It runs an Intel Core i5-1135G7, a Tiger Lake processor from 2.4 GHz up to 4.2 GHz, with the vPro i5-1145G7E listed as an alternative. Memory starts at one DDR4-3200 SO-DIMM with 4 GB and can grow to 64 GB across two sockets, while storage is an M.2 NVMe SSD from 128 GB up to 2 TB plus an optional 2.5 inch SATA bay. The 1280 x 1024 screen is rated at 350 nits with a 1000:1 contrast ratio and 170° horizontal and 160° vertical viewing angles. Resistive touch or plain protection glass can be specified, and Windows 11 IoT Enterprise, Windows 11 Pro, Windows 10 IoT Enterprise or Ubuntu 22.04 can be supplied as the operating system image.

The rear carries four USB 3.2 Type-A ports, one RS-232/422/485 and one RS-232 port, two Gigabit Ethernet ports on Intel controllers, a DisplayPort 1.4 output with HDMI 2.0 as an option, and mic-in and line-out. An M.2 E-key slot takes a Wi-Fi and Bluetooth module, and a PCIe 4.0 x16 slot (x4 signal) takes an add-in card such as extra serial, fieldbus or capture I/O. The R17IT7T-PMM1 is the panel mount version for a cabinet cut-out, and the R19IT7T-CHA1 is the 19 inch chassis model with a 400 nit screen.

Power is 12 V DC on a DIN 4-pin connector, with a 100 to 240 V AC adapter rated at 120 W supplied. The R17IT7T-CHM1 operates from 0 to 50 °C at 10 to 90% humidity non-condensing, stores from -10 to 60 °C and carries CE and FCC marks. It measures 394 x 332 x 74 mm, weighs 6.3 kg and mounts on 75 x 75 or 100 x 100 mm VESA.
