Winmate R15L100-IPC3HB 15″ Front IP65 Monitor with 1000 Nit XGA Display and Resistive Touch

A screen in a machine panel or kiosk that faces bright light can be hard to read at normal brightness. The R15L100-IPC3HB is Winmate’s 15 inch front IP65 high brightness monitor, with a 1000 nit panel that suits sunlight-readable installations and IP65 sealing at the front.

The 15″ 4:3 panel runs at 1024 x 768 (XGA) with 1000 nits and a 2000:1 contrast ratio, and Winmate quotes viewing angles of 176° in both directions. That brightness helps where strong light falls across the front of the machine or kiosk. Resistive touch comes as standard and works with gloves or a stylus. Winmate also offers SAW touch, or protection glass without touch where the screen only needs to display.

Video comes in over VGA as standard, with HDMI or DVI inputs available as options, and touch data runs over a single USB port. An audio line-in and two speakers are optional, and five keys handle the on-screen menu, with a remote control as an optional accessory. Within the Winmate range, the R15L100-IPA1 is a 350 nit version with 800:1 contrast, and the R15L100-IPA3WT is the wide temperature version, rated from -20 °C to 60 °C.

The R15L100-IPC3HB runs from 12 V DC, with a 24 V DC input as an option, and an AC adapter comes with it, along with a power cord, VGA and HDMI cables and VESA screws. It operates from 0 °C to 50 °C at 10 to 90% humidity, non-condensing, and stores from -10 °C to 60 °C. The fanless metal housing with an aluminum bezel mounts into a panel cut-out or on VESA, and the 15 inch monitor carries CE and FCC marks.
