Winmate R15L600-PPC3(HB) 15″ PCAP Panel Mount Monitor with Optional 1000 Nit Panel and XGA LCD

On an automation panel or a kiosk front, the display usually has to fit a cut-out, cope with splashes at the front and connect to a separate industrial PC or controller. The R15L600-PPC3(HB) is Winmate’s 15 inch panel mount touch monitor for that installation: a 15″ 1024 x 768 XGA projected capacitive touchscreen in a metal housing with an aluminum bezel, sealed to IP65 at the front.

The 1024 x 768 panel runs at 300 nits with 2000:1 contrast and 176 degree viewing angles. A 1000 nit panel is optional where the monitor faces strong ambient light or sunlight. The 4:3 format suits HMI and SCADA screens laid out for older square-format displays. Projected capacitive multi-touch reports to the host computer over USB, so swipe and pinch gestures work through the glass.

Video comes in over VGA as standard, with HDMI and DVI as options, and a single USB port carries touch back to the computer. An audio line-in and two speakers are optional. Five keys (minus, plus, power, Esc and Enter) run the on-screen menu for brightness and input settings. Within the Winmate range, the R15L600-PCC3(HB) is the chassis version tested to MIL-STD-810G shock and vibration, and the R15L600-PPC3OD is the sunlight readable panel mount version.

Power is 12 V DC, with a 24 V DC input as an option, and the monitor comes with VGA and HDMI cables, a 100 to 240 V AC to DC adapter and a power cord. The 15 inch monitor runs fanless from 0 °C to 50 °C at 10 to 90% humidity, non-condensing, stores from -10 °C to 60 °C and carries CE and FCC marks. It fits a panel cut-out or a VESA mount.
