Winmate R15MG3S-GSC3(HB) 15″ Full IP65 Rugged Panel PC with 6-Core MediaTek Genio 510 and MIL-STD-810H

On production lines that are washed down at the end of a shift, a 15 inch HMI has to cope with water reaching the back and sides, not only the front glass. The R15MG3S-GSC3(HB) is Winmate’s 15 inch G-WIN GS panel PC for that kind of site: an aluminum housing, sealed to IP65 all round, with M12 connectors on every external port and a 15″ 1024 x 768 projected capacitive touchscreen at 300 nits, or 1000 nits as an option, with 2000:1 contrast.

Processing comes from a MediaTek Genio 510, a six-core Arm processor with two Cortex-A78 and four Cortex-A55 cores at 2.0 GHz. It has 4 GB of LPDDR4, 32 GB of onboard eMMC and a Micro SD slot. Android 13 is the default operating system, with Yocto Linux (kernel 5.15.47 with Qt 5.15) or Ubuntu 22.04 as options. That suits HMI front ends, data collection screens and kiosk apps more than heavy local processing, and the low power draw is what lets the 15 inch housing stay fanless and sealed.

All connections are sealed: one Gigabit LAN, one USB 2.0 and one RS-232 port on M12 connectors, with RS-422/485 available as an option on the serial port, plus one USB Type-C port and a Micro SD slot. Two speakers are built in. Protection glass and an anti-glare coating are optional. M12 power, serial and USB/LAN cables and three protective caps are supplied. The R15MG3S-GCC3 is the 15 inch G-WIN GC model, rated IP65 at the front with standard connectors, and the R15IAN3S-GSC3(HB) takes the same GS housing with an Intel N150 for x86 software.

Power is 12 V DC on an M12 connector. The unit operates from -15 °C to 55 °C at 10 to 95% humidity, non-condensing, stores from -30 °C to 60 °C, and is tested to MIL-STD-810H Method 516.8 for shock and Method 514.8 for vibration. It mounts in a panel or on VESA and carries CE and FCC marks. We supply the R15MG3S-GSC3(HB) configured, with the OS installed, and tested before dispatch.
