Winmate R17IP7T-CHM1 17″ Chassis Panel PC with Intel Apollo Lake Pentium N4200 and Resistive Touch

Where there is no cabinet to build into, a chassis panel PC on a VESA arm, wall bracket or desk stand keeps the screen and computer together. The R17IP7T-CHM1 is Winmate’s 17 inch chassis panel PC: a 17″ SXGA display and an Intel Pentium N4200 computer in one chassis for VESA arms, walls and desk stands.

The Intel Pentium N4200 (Apollo Lake) runs at 1.1 GHz with bursts to 2.5 GHz, a good fit for HMI software, line status displays and data entry. Two DDR3L SO-DIMM sockets run dual-channel up to 16 GB, and a 128 GB SSD sits on an M.2 2242 B-key slot, with two optional 2.5″ SATA III bays that support RAID. The 17″ panel is 1280 x 1024 at 350 nits with 1000:1 contrast, with resistive touch or protection glass as options. Windows or Linux Ubuntu 20.04 can be supplied.

Two Gigabit Ethernet ports on Intel controllers, four USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports and one RS-232/422/485 plus one RS-232 port cover PLCs, scanners and serial instruments. DisplayPort 1.2 is standard for a second screen, with HDMI 1.4 or VGA as options, alongside mic-in, line-out and two speakers. A PCIe 2.0 x1 slot takes a fieldbus or I/O card, and an M.2 E-key slot takes optional Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Within the Winmate range the R17IF7T-CHM1 is the chassis build with an Intel Core i7-9700TE, and the R19IP7T-CHM1 is the 19 inch chassis version with the same Pentium N4200.

Power is 12 V DC on a four-pin DIN connector, and it comes with a 84 W AC adapter and power cord. The fanless metal housing operates from 0 °C to 50 °C at 10 to 90% humidity, non-condensing, which suits indoor cabinets and consoles. The R17IP7T-CHM1 comes with VESA screws for arms, wall brackets and desk stands. It carries CE and FCC marks. We supply it configured, with the OS installed, and tested before dispatch.
