Winmate W12L100-POB1 12.3″ PCAP Open Frame Monitor with 1000 Nit 1920 x 720 Display and 1000:1 Contrast

Machine builders and kiosk makers often want the display to sit inside their own enclosure, behind their own bezel. The W12L100-POB1 is Winmate’s 12.3 inch open frame touch monitor for that kind of build: a 12.3″ 1920 x 720 wide-format display with projected capacitive multi-touch in a metal frame.

The 1920 x 720 panel runs at 1000 nits with 1000:1 contrast and 176 degree viewing angles. At 1000 nits the panel is sunlight readable, so it typically stays legible near windows and under strong lighting. The stretched 1920 x 720 format suits status bars, wide menus and machine-front information strips. Projected capacitive multi-touch reports to the host computer over USB, so swipe and pinch gestures work through the glass.

Video comes in over VGA as standard, with HDMI and DVI as options, and a single USB port carries touch back to the computer. An audio line-in and two speakers are optional. Five keys (minus, plus, power, Esc and Enter) run the on-screen menu for brightness and input settings. Within the Winmate range, the W12L100-PPB1 is the panel mount version with an aluminum bezel and IP65 at the front, and the W15L100-POB2 is the 14.9 inch open frame model with the same 1920 x 720 resolution at 950 nits.

Power is 12 V DC, with a 24 V DC input as an option, and the monitor comes with VGA and HDMI cables, a 100 to 240 V AC to DC adapter and a power cord. The 12.3 inch monitor runs fanless from 0 °C to 50 °C at 10 to 90% humidity, non-condensing, stores from -10 °C to 60 °C and carries CE and FCC marks.
