Winmate W12L100-PPB1 12.3″ PCAP Panel Mount Monitor with 1000 Nit 1920 x 720 Display and 1000:1 Contrast

On an automation panel or a kiosk front, the display usually has to fit a cut-out, cope with splashes at the front and connect to a separate industrial PC or controller. The W12L100-PPB1 is Winmate’s 12.3 inch panel mount touch monitor for that installation: a 12.3″ 1920 x 720 1920 x 720 projected capacitive touchscreen in a metal housing with an aluminum bezel, sealed to IP65 at the front.

The 1920 x 720 panel runs at 1000 nits with 1000:1 contrast and 176 degree viewing angles. At 1000 nits the panel is sunlight readable, so it typically stays legible near windows and under strong lighting. The stretched 1920 x 720 format suits status bars, wide menus and machine-front information strips. Projected capacitive multi-touch reports to the host computer over USB, so swipe and pinch gestures work through the glass.

Video comes in over VGA as standard, with HDMI and DVI as options, and a single USB port carries touch back to the computer. An audio line-in and two speakers are optional. Five keys (minus, plus, power, Esc and Enter) run the on-screen menu for brightness and input settings. Within the Winmate range, the W12IE3S-PPB1 is the panel PC version of this housing with an Intel Celeron N6211, and the W12L100-POB1 is the open frame version for fitting behind your own bezel.

Power is 12 V DC, with a 24 V DC input as an option, and the monitor comes with VGA and HDMI cables, a 100 to 240 V AC to DC adapter and a power cord. The 12.3 inch monitor runs fanless from 0 °C to 50 °C at 10 to 90% humidity, non-condensing, stores from -10 °C to 60 °C and carries CE and FCC marks. It is a panel mount design.
