Winmate W15IAD3S-OFA2 15.6″ Open Frame Panel PC with 12th Gen Intel Core i5 and Resistive Touch

Machine builders and kiosk makers often want the screen and computer without a bezel, so the unit sits behind a front panel they have designed themselves. The W15IAD3S-OFA2 is Winmate’s 15.6 inch open frame panel PC for that job, with a 12th Gen Intel Core i5-1235U and a 400 nit 1366 x 768 display with 500:1 contrast.

The Core i5-1235U runs at up to 4.4 GHz with one DDR5-4800 SO-DIMM socket, 8 GB as standard and 16 or 32 GB as options, which typically leaves the W15IAD3S-OFA2 room for HMI software and a SCADA client. Storage is a 128 GB NVMe SSD as standard on an M.2 2280 M-key slot, with options to 4 TB and an optional 2.5″ SATA III drive. TPM 2.0 is on board, with Windows 11 IoT Enterprise, Windows 11 Pro or Linux Ubuntu 22.04. Resistive touch is optional, as is protection glass without touch.

Connections include two 2.5GbE ports on Intel controllers, two USB 3.2 Gen 2×1 Type-A ports, one RS-232/422/485 and one RS-232 port for PLCs, scanners and serial instruments, and two speakers. HDMI 2.0 is optional, and an M.2 E-key slot takes optional Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Within the Winmate range the W15IAD7T-OFA2 keeps the open frame with LGA1700 Core i3 to i9 processors and fan cooling, and the W15IAD3S-PMA2 is the panel mount version with mounting clips supplied.

Power is 12 V DC on a barrel jack, with a 120 W AC adapter supplied. The fanless metal housing runs from 0 to 50 °C in non-condensing humidity, which suits indoor cabinets and control rooms. Open frame mounting is standard, with panel and VESA mounting as options. It carries CE and FCC marks. We supply the W15IAD3S-OFA2 configured, with the OS installed, and tested before dispatch.
