Winmate W15IT3S-PPA4 15.6″ Panel Mount HMI with 11th Gen Intel Core i5 and PCAP Touch

Widescreen HMI layouts are now the default for new machine projects, and a 15.6 inch full HD screen fits them in a modest cut-out. The W15IT3S-PPA4 is Winmate’s 15.6 inch PP series panel mount HMI, a 15.6″ 1920 x 1080 PCAP multi-touch display at 300 nits with an 11th Gen Intel Core i5-1135G7 behind a flat aluminum bezel.

The Core i5-1135G7 runs at 2.4 GHz with turbo up to 4.2 GHz and Intel Iris Xe graphics, with 4 GB of DDR4 as standard and 8, 16 or 32 GB as options, which typically gives the W15IT3S-PPA4 headroom for HMI software, a SCADA client or a browser-based dashboard. A 128 GB NVMe SSD sits in an M.2 2280 M-key slot, with options up to 4 TB, and an optional SATA III bay takes a 2.5″ drive up to 2 TB. TPM 2.0 is on board, and Windows 11 IoT Enterprise, Windows 11 Pro or Linux Ubuntu 22.04 can be supplied.

Connections include two 2.5GbE ports on Intel Ethernet controllers, two USB 3.2 Gen 2×1 Type-A ports, one RS-232/422/485 port (RS-232 by default) and one RS-232 port for PLCs, scanners and serial instruments, and two speakers. HDMI 2.0 is optional for a second screen, and an M.2 2230 E-key slot takes optional Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Within the Winmate range the W15IAD3S-PPA4 uses this PP housing with a 12th Gen Core i5-1235U, and the W15IT7T-PPA4 is an earlier 15.6 inch PP model with the same processor.

Power is 12 V DC on a barrel jack, with a 100 to 240 V AC adapter rated at 120 W and a power cord supplied. The fanless metal housing runs from 0 to 50 °C at 10 to 90% humidity, non-condensing, and it is rated IP65 at the front, so the rear belongs inside a cabinet or enclosure. Panel mounting with clips is standard and VESA mounting is optional, with screws for both in the box. It carries CE and FCC marks. We supply the W15IT3S-PPA4 configured, with the OS installed, and tested before dispatch.
