Winmate W18IF7T-OFA2 18.5″ Open Frame Panel PC with 9th Gen Intel Core i3/i5/i7 and Resistive Touch

OEMs building their own enclosure, kiosk or machine fascia often want the screen and computer as one module, with no bezel of its own to design around. The W18IF7T-OFA2 is Winmate’s 18.5 inch open frame panel PC: a 18.5″ HD display and a 9th Gen Intel Core i3 to i7 computer in a metal open frame that mounts behind your own front panel.

It takes 9th Gen Intel Core TE processors (Coffee Lake Refresh) on the Intel Q370 chipset: the Core i7-9700TE as standard at up to 3.8 GHz, with the Core i5-9500TE or Core i3-9100TE as options, which gives headroom for SCADA software. Two DDR4 SO-DIMM sockets take up to 64 GB, a 128 GB SSD sits on an M.2 M-key slot for NVMe or SATA, and two optional 2.5″ SATA III bays support RAID 0 and 1. The 18.5″ panel is 1366 x 768 at 450 nits with 1000:1 contrast, with resistive touch or protection glass as options. Windows or Linux Ubuntu 20.04 can be supplied.

Two Intel Gigabit Ethernet ports, four USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports and one RS-232/422/485 plus one RS-232 port cover PLCs, scanners and serial instruments. DisplayPort 1.2 drives a second screen, with HDMI 1.4 optional, plus mic-in, line-out and two speakers. A PCIe 3.0 x16 slot takes an add-in card, and an M.2 E-key slot takes optional Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Within the Winmate range the W18IT7T-OFA2 is the open frame build with an Intel Core i5-1135G7, and the W24IF7T-OFA2 is the 23.8 inch Full HD version of the same open frame design.

Power is 12 V DC on a lockable four-pin DIN connector, and it comes with a 120 W AC adapter and power cord. The fan-cooled metal housing operates from 0 °C to 50 °C at 10 to 90% humidity, non-condensing, which suits indoor cabinets and consoles. The W18IF7T-OFA2 mounts as an open frame by default, with panel or VESA mounting as options. It carries CE and FCC marks. We supply it configured, with the OS installed, and tested before dispatch.
