Winmate W18IT3S-RKA1 18.5″ FHD Rack Mount Panel PC with Intel Core i5-1135G7 on an 8U Front

In a control room or test rack, a display that lives on a shelf or arm takes space and gets knocked; a screen built into the rack keeps the cabinet tidy. The W18IT3S-RKA1 is Winmate’s 18.5 inch rack mount panel PC: a fanless computer with a 16:9 display built into an 8U 19 inch rack front with carry handles.

It runs an Intel Core i5-1135G7 at 2.4 GHz up to 4.2 GHz, with the Intel Core i5-1145G7 at up to 4.4 GHz as an option. One DDR4-3200 SO-DIMM holds 4 GB as standard with 8, 16 or 32 GB options, and storage is one M.2 slot for a 2242 SATA or 2280 NVMe SSD from 128 GB, with NVMe options to 4 TB and an optional SATA III drive up to 2 TB. The 1920 x 1080 display is rated at 350 nits with a 1000:1 contrast ratio and 178° viewing angles in both planes, so it reads clearly from either side of the rack. Resistive touch or plain protection glass can be specified. Windows 11 IoT Enterprise SAC, Windows 10 IoT Enterprise or Ubuntu 22.04 can be supplied.

The I/O comprises two USB 3.2 Type-A ports, one RS-232/422/485 and one RS-232 port, two Gigabit Ethernet ports on Intel controllers and an optional HDMI 2.0 output, with two speakers built in. An M.2 E-key slot takes an optional Wi-Fi module, and TPM 2.0 is on board. Behind the rack plate the housing also carries 75 x 75 mm VESA holes. The R19IT3S-PMA1 is the 19 inch 5:4 panel mount model for a cabinet cut-out, and the W22IT3S-PMA3 is the 21.5 inch panel mount model with the same 1920 x 1080 resolution.

Power is 12 V DC on a 2.5 mm DC jack, with a 100 to 240 V AC adapter rated at 120 W supplied. The W18IT3S-RKA1 operates from 0 to 50 °C at 10 to 90% humidity non-condensing, stores from -10 to 60 °C and carries CE and FCC marks. It measures 483 x 355 x 73 mm and weighs 5.86 kg.
