Line-side screens get splashed, wiped and knocked, and a monitor built for an office desk will not last long there. The W22L100-GCA3 is Winmate’s 21.5 inch front IP65 PCAP touch monitor from the G-WIN GC range, built to panel mount into machines and consoles or sit on a VESA arm. It is a good fit where a PCAP screen replaces membrane buttons on a machine front.
The 1920 x 1080 panel runs at 250 nits with a 3000:1 contrast ratio, 16.7 million colors and 178° viewing angles, which suits indoor control rooms and production areas. Projected capacitive multi-touch connects over USB for light-tap control, and the front is rated IP65 against water and dust, so the screen face can be cleaned in place.
Video comes in over VGA, with HDMI and DVI available as options, and a five-key OSD panel sits on the rear. Where the screen will face strong daylight, the W22L100-GCB1OD offers a 1000 nit PCAP panel in the same style of housing, and the W24L100-GCA2 is the 23.8 inch version of this front IP65 monitor.
Power is 12 V DC, with 24 V DC available as an option and a 100 to 240 V AC adapter supplied. The fanless unit measures 530.2 x 321.7 x 54.9 mm with a plastic bezel and metal back cover, and fits a 457 x 250 mm panel cut-out or 100 x 100 and 200 x 100 mm VESA holes. It operates from 0 °C to 50 °C, meets MIL-STD-810G shock and vibration methods and carries CE and FCC marks. An optional remote controller is listed for adjustment when the rear is hard to reach.
