Screens on food, beverage and chemical lines are hosed and wiped with cleaning agents, and a front-only seal leaves the back and connectors exposed. The W22L100-SPA3 is Winmate’s 21.5 inch IP65 stainless steel monitor, with PCAP touch in a fully sealed SUS 316 housing and waterproof M12 connectors throughout.
The 1920 x 1080 panel runs at 250 nits with a 3000:1 contrast ratio, 16.7 million colors and 178° viewing angles. Projected capacitive multi-touch connects over a waterproof USB link, and optical bonding is offered as an option. The whole housing is rated IP65 waterproof and dustproof, and Winmate notes the design is widely used for automation in food and beverage plants and chemical factories.
Video enters on an M12 VGA connector, with waterproof DVI and HDMI inputs as options, and touch runs over an M12 waterproof USB connector. Five buttons handle the OSD, with LEDs for power and status. For direct high-pressure, high-temperature wash-down, the W22L100-SPA369 is the IP69K version of this monitor, and the W22L100-STA3 is a panel mount option with a stainless front bezel and front IP65 rating.
Power is 12 V DC on an M12 connector, with a 100 to 240 V AC adapter with waterproof connector, waterproof caps and external VGA and USB cables in the kit. The fanless unit measures 541 x 337 x 56.2 mm and mounts on 200 x 100 mm VESA holes or a yoke mount. It operates from 0 °C to 45 °C at 10 to 90% humidity and carries CE and FCC marks. The flat stainless faces and sealed connectors leave few places for product or cleaning agents to collect.
