A large open frame touch computer lets a kiosk or machine builder put a full HD screen in front of users while keeping the enclosure design their own. The W24IT7T-POA2 is Winmate’s 23.8 inch PO Series open frame panel PC for that job, with an Intel Core i5-1135G7, a 23.8″ 1920 x 1080 projected capacitive multi-touch screen and a front IP65 rating in a fanless metal housing. Winmate aims the PO Series at interactive kiosks, process control and smart manufacturing.
The Core i5-1135G7 runs at 2.4 GHz with turbo up to 4.2 GHz, enough for SCADA clients and kiosk software. Memory is one DDR4-3200 SO-DIMM with 4 GB as standard and up to 32 GB, or an optional two-SO-DIMM layout up to 64 GB. An M.2 2280 M-key NVMe SSD from 128 GB up to 2 TB holds the software, with an optional SATA III 2.5″ drive up to 2 TB, and TPM 2.0 is on board. Windows 11 IoT Enterprise, Windows 11 Pro or Linux Ubuntu 22.04 can be supplied.
Networking is one Gigabit LAN port and one 2.5GbE port, alongside four USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, one RS-232/422/485 and one RS-232 port, DisplayPort 1.4 with an optional HDMI 2.0 output, and mic in and line out. A PCIe 4.0 x16 slot with x4 signaling takes an add-in card, and an M.2 E-key slot takes an optional Wi-Fi module. Within the Winmate range, the W22IT7T-POA3 is the 21.5 inch open frame model with the same processor, and the W24IT7T-PMA2 is the 23.8 inch panel mount model.
Power is 12 V DC on a DIN 4-pin connector, with a 12 V 120 W AC adapter supplied. The W24IT7T-POA2 runs from 0 °C to 50 °C, stores from -10 °C to 60 °C and carries CE and FCC marks. It mounts as an open frame, in a panel or on a VESA mount, and a brightness knob, power and reset buttons sit on the unit. We supply it configured, with the OS installed, and tested before dispatch.
