Winmate W24L100-MRA1 24″ Marine Monitor with Resistive Touch, IP66 Front and DNVGL-CG-0339

The W24L100-MRA1 is Winmate's 24 inch marine monitor, with a 1920 x 1080 resistive touch panel, an IP66 front, a dimming knob and DNVGL-CG-0339, IEC 60945 and IACS E10 on its certification list. It suits bridge consoles and shipboard automation stations.

  • Marine Certification: DNVGL-CG-0339, IEC 60945 4th edition and IACS E10 are listed, with vibration tested to DNVGL CG-0339 Class A.
  • Dimming Knob: A front knob sets the backlight from nearly 0% to 100%, so the screen can drop low for night watch on the bridge.
  • IP66 Front: An IP66 powder-coated aluminum front with an IP54 rear protects the console face from spray and dust.
  • Resistive Touch: Resistive touch over RS-232 or USB works with gloved fingers, with AR protection glass available as an option.
  • 24 V DC Isolated Input: Isolated 24 V DC input that accepts 9 to 36 V DC, drawing 50 W typical from ship supplies.

W24L100-MRA1 Overview

Bridge screens have to be dimmed almost to black at night, survive spray and vibration, and carry the approvals a class surveyor will ask for. The W24L100-MRA1 is Winmate’s 24 inch marine monitor built for that work, with resistive touch, a dimming knob and an IP66 front for panel mounting into consoles.

The 1920 x 1080 panel runs at 300 nits with a 5000:1 contrast ratio and 178° viewing angles, and the dimming knob sets the backlight from nearly 0% to 100%. Resistive touch connects over RS-232 or USB and works with gloves, with AR protection glass as an option. Winmate lists DNVGL-CG-0339, IEC 60945 4th edition and IACS E10 among its certifications, alongside CE and FCC.

Video inputs are VGA, DVI-D, composite and S-Video, which suits radar, chart and camera sources on older and newer bridge systems, and an RS-232 port handles remote control. An eight-key OSD panel sits beside the knob. For bare-finger PCAP touch, HDMI input and ECDIS mode keys, the W24L100-MRA1FP is the flat-front version, and the W24L100-MRA1HB raises brightness to 1000 nits for bright wheelhouses.

Power is a 24 V DC isolated input that accepts 9 to 36 V DC, drawing 50 W typical. The fanless unit measures 593 x 356.7 x 62.7 mm, weighs 9.7 kg and panel mounts, with M6 VESA holes as an alternative. The front is rated IP66 and the rear IP54, and it operates from -15 °C to 55 °C at 5 to 95% humidity, with shock rated at 15 G over 11 ms. Winmate names marine bridge systems, shipboard automation and offshore operations as target uses.
