Washdown areas in food and chemical production destroy screens that rely on a sealed front alone, because water reaches the rear connectors and seams. The W24L100-SPA2 is Winmate’s 23.8 inch IP65 stainless steel touch monitor: a fanless 1920 x 1080 PCAP display in an SUS 316 housing, sealed to IP65 as a whole unit with M12 connectors throughout.
The 16:9 panel runs at 1920 x 1080 with 250 nits brightness, a 3000:1 contrast ratio and 178° viewing angles, which keeps HMI screens readable from the side of a line. Projected capacitive multi-touch sits behind the sealed front, so operators can tap and swipe on recipe and batch screens. Optical bonding is an option where condensation or glare is a concern.
The touch screen connects over USB on an M12 waterproof connector, and video arrives on VGA through an M12 connector, with waterproof DVI and HDMI inputs as options. Power and status LEDs and a five-button OSD panel sit on the housing. The W24L100-SPA269 is the IP69K version for high-pressure, high-temperature cleaning, and the W32L100-SPA3 offers the same IP65 stainless build at 32 inches.
Power is 12 V DC on an M12 connector, and a 100 to 240 V AC adapter with a waterproof connector is supplied with waterproof caps and cables. The monitor measures 620 x 390 x 56 mm, runs fanless from 0 to 45 °C at 10 to 90% humidity and carries CE and FCC marks. It mounts on VESA 200 x 100 holes or on a yoke for bench and pedestal installs. Winmate names food and beverage plants and chemical factories for this model.
