A line overview screen in a washdown area needs to be large enough to read across the floor and sealed everywhere, including the rear where cables enter. The W32L100-SPA3 is Winmate’s 32 inch IP65 stainless steel touch monitor: a fanless 1920 x 1080 PCAP display in an SUS 316 housing, sealed to IP65 as a whole unit with M12 connectors.
The 16:9 panel runs at 1920 x 1080 with 400 nits brightness, a 4000:1 contrast ratio and 178° viewing angles, showing 16.7 million colors. Projected capacitive multi-touch sits behind the sealed front so operators can work recipe, batch and alarm screens. At 32 inches the screen gives a line overview that reads from further away than a 24 inch panel. Optical bonding is an option where condensation or glare is a concern.
The touch screen connects over USB on an M12 waterproof connector, and video arrives on VGA through an M12 connector, with waterproof DVI and HDMI inputs as options. Power and status LEDs and a five-button OSD panel sit on the housing. The W24L100-SPA2 is the 23.8 inch IP65 model, and the W24L100-SPA269 adds IP69K sealing for high-pressure cleaning.
Power is 24 V DC on an M12 connector, and a 100 to 240 V AC adapter with a waterproof connector is supplied with waterproof caps and cables. The monitor measures 785 x 475 x 56 mm on Winmate’s drawing, mounts on VESA 200 x 100 holes, runs fanless from 0 to 45 °C at 10 to 90% humidity and carries CE and FCC marks. Winmate names food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries for this model.
