2 × 12G-SDI/HDMI2.0 to 12G-SDI/HDMI2.0 Overview
Stereo camera rigs and 3D production need two matched video paths and a way to pack them into one 3D signal, or unpack them again for monitoring. The Yuan 2 × 12G-SDI/HDMI2.0 to 12G-SDI/HDMI2.0 is a 12G-SDI converter built for that job at 4K, typically in broadcast, live events or research set-ups that work with left and right eye feeds.
It has two HDMI 2.0 and two 12G-SDI inputs, each accepting 2D or 3D, and two HDMI 2.0 and two 12G-SDI outputs. 12G-SDI and HDMI 2.0 run at 4096×2160 and 3840×2160 at 60/50 fps, with 6G-SDI at 4K30 and 3G-SDI, HD-SDI and 720p below that. 3D modes are side by side, top and bottom, line by line and frame sequential. Interlaced input is not supported for frame sequential output. Embedded audio is eight channels, 24-bit, 48 kHz on each interface.
The 2 × 12G-SDI/HDMI2.0 to 12G-SDI/HDMI2.0 runs from a 7.5 to 15 V DC input and is plug and play. For HD 3D work, the 2 × SDI/HDMI to SDI/HDMI offers similar 3D modes up to 2048x1080p60 with depth adjustment. If you need a single 4K path without 3D, the HDMI2.0 to 12G-SDI converts HDMI 2.0 to two 12G-SDI outputs.
No operating temperature or certification is published, so plan for a rack, desk or control room. We can also supply spare units for critical signal paths and advise on mounting and power in the rack, so the installation is ready before you go live. We supply the 2 × 12G-SDI/HDMI2.0 to 12G-SDI/HDMI2.0 configured and tested with the cameras, displays and recorders on your system.
