A shared recording station, in a hospital department, a university or a test lab, can meet any source: an SDI camera one day, an HDMI laptop the next, then component or composite from older equipment. The SC5C0N1 is Yuan’s all-in-one PCIe HDMI, SDI and DVI frame grabber for that, with HDMI, DVI-I, YPbPr, SDI, composite and S-Video inputs on one board and full 1080p60 capture.
The card captures 1920 x 1080p at 60/50 fps from HDMI, DVI, YPbPr and SDI, and takes 1920 x 1200 sources at up to 60/50 fps in, captured at 30/25 fps. Computer modes from 640 x 480 to 1280 x 1024 are listed, and composite and S-Video run at 720 x 576i50 and 720 x 480i60. Capture and preview formats cover RGB24 and RGB32 at 4:4:4, YUY2 at 4:2:2 and YV12 and NV12 at 4:2:0, so frames can go straight to an encoder, a display pipeline or an analytics model without a color conversion step. Audio arrives as stereo embedded audio at 16-bit and 32 to 48 kHz.
It uses a PCIe x1 Gen1 slot and supports multiple instances and multiple cards per host, with an H.26X encoder, cropping and scaling, automatic signal detection, deinterlacing and a watchdog. Software runs through Yuan’s Windows and Linux SDK, and the card works with DirectShow and V4L2 applications such as vMix, OBS, Zoom and Teams. The SC5C0N1-L carries the same signal set through SDI and DVI-I connectors on a longer, lower board, and the SC5C0N1 MC AIO brings HDMI, DVI-I, YPbPr and SDI capture to Mini PCIe.
Yuan lists driver support for Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and 10, Linux kernel 2.6.14 or later in 32-bit and 64-bit builds, Linux on ARM and NVIDIA Jetson TX2, Nano, AGX Xavier and Xavier NX modules. So one all-in-one card can serve Windows, Linux and Jetson-based recorders. The board measures 93.02 x 101.03 mm.
