SC6G0N1 HDMI2.0 to IP/UVC V2 Overview
Bringing a 4K HDMI camera or presentation source onto a network often needs an encoder small enough to sit beside it. The Yuan SC6G0N1 HDMI2.0 to IP/UVC V2 is a compact HDMI 2.0 hardware video encoder that publishes the source as a network stream and as a USB UVC device, which can suit lecture capture, conferencing and pro AV feeds where the same picture goes to a PC and to the network.
It takes one HDMI 2.0 input from 3840×2160 at 60fps down to 720p and PC modes to 640×480. Outputs are the gigabit RJ45 port and a USB 3.0 Type-B UVC port, which gives NV12 at 2160p30, YUY2 or NV12 at 1080p60, and MJPEG or H.264 at up to 2160p60. The SC6G0N1 HDMI2.0 to IP/UVC V2 encodes H.264 at Baseline, Main or High profile up to 64Mbps with AAC-LC audio, and lists Dante AV-H, Full NDI, NDI HX, TS over UDP, RTSP, RTMP, HLS and SRT.
A web interface with upgradable firmware and DHCP covers setup, and the unit records MP4, TS or MOV. Power is IEEE 802.3af PoE or 12V DC, in a small flanged enclosure. The SC6G0N1 IP to UVC/HDMI2.0 is the matching decoder, and the SC6E0N1 HDMI to IP/UVC V2 covers 1080p60 sources.
Running the network stream and the UVC output together lets one camera feed a remote audience and a local capture or conferencing PC at the same time. Settle the stream format with whoever runs the receiving end before installation.
