SC6G0N1 IP to UVC/HDMI2.0 Overview
At the display end of an AV network, the stream sometimes needs to reach a screen and a PC at once. The Yuan SC6G0N1 IP to UVC/HDMI2.0 is a compact video decoder that turns one network stream into an HDMI 2.0 output and a USB UVC feed, which can suit overflow rooms, monitoring positions and conferencing setups that pick up a remote camera as a webcam.
Input is a stream on the gigabit RJ45 port. The HDMI 2.0 output runs from 3840×2160 at 60fps down to 720p and PC modes to 640×480. The USB 3.0 Type-C UVC output gives NV12 at 2160p30 and 1080p30, and MJPEG at up to 2160p30. The SC6G0N1 IP to UVC/HDMI2.0 decodes H.264 Baseline, Main and High profile streams with AAC-LC audio, and accepts Dante AV-H, Full NDI, NDI HX, TS over UDP, RTSP, RTMP, HLS and SRT.
A web interface with upgradable firmware and DHCP covers setup. Power is IEEE 802.3af PoE or 12V DC, so one cable can often do the job. The SC6G0N1 HDMI2.0 to IP/UVC V2 is the matching encoder, and the SC6E0N1 IP/UVC to HDMI2.0 V2 adds a 3G-SDI output for SDI kit.
One decoder feeding both a screen and a PC can save a separate capture card at the receiving end of the link. Note the UVC output tops out at 2160p30, so plan any 60fps viewing on the HDMI side. We supply the SC6G0N1 IP to UVC/HDMI2.0 configured and tested with the encoders, displays and network it will connect to.
