The SC730N2-L HDMI2.0 is Yuan's low profile PCIe HDMI video capture card with two HDMI 2.0 inputs, each up to 4096 x 2160 at 60/50 fps with HDR10 and HLG support and RGB or YUV 4:2:0, 4:2:2 and 4:4:4 input at 8 or 10-bit. It suits compact computers recording two 4K HDR sources.

  • Two HDMI 2.0 Inputs: Two HDMI 2.0 inputs, each capturing 4096 x 2160 or 3840 x 2160 at up to 60 fps, for two 4K sources on one card.
  • HDR10 and HLG: Accepts HDR10 and HLG signals on both inputs, so HDR cameras, consoles and displays under test can be captured directly.
  • 4:4:4 and 10-bit Input: Takes RGB or YUV 4:2:0, 4:2:2 and 4:4:4 input signals at 8 or 10-bit from each HDMI 2.0 source.
  • SDK and APIs: DirectShow, V4L2, FFmpeg and GStreamer APIs, with C++, C#, .NET, Visual Basic, Qt and Delphi supported for custom applications.
  • Low Profile PCIe x4 Gen3: Low profile PCIe x4 Gen3 card that fits small-form-factor hosts, with drivers for Windows 11 and Linux 2.6.14 or higher.

SC730N2-L HDMI2.0 Overview

Recording two 4K HDR sources at once from a compact computer means fitting both channels into whatever slot the host has free. The SC730N2-L HDMI2.0 is Yuan’s low profile PCIe HDMI video capture card with two HDMI 2.0 inputs, each capturing up to 4096 x 2160 at 60/50 fps. It is a good fit for small-form-factor recording, streaming and display test systems where a low profile slot is the one available.

Each HDMI 2.0 input accepts 4096 x 2160 and 3840 x 2160 at 60, 50, 30, 25 and 24 fps, down through 1080p, 1080i, 720p and PC resolutions to 640 x 480 and SD 480i and 576i. The input signal can be HDR10 or HLG, in RGB or YUV 4:2:0, 4:2:2 or 4:4:4 at 8 or 10-bit. Audio is embedded on both HDMI inputs and captured as stereo at 16-bit, 32 to 48 kHz.

It connects over PCIe x4 Gen3. YUAN lists no on-board encoding, so compression runs in host software, and the SDK supports DirectShow, V4L2, FFmpeg and GStreamer with C++, C#, .NET, Visual Basic, Qt and Delphi. For the same two inputs in an M.2 socket, the SC730N2 M2 HDMI2.0 takes two HDMI 2.0 inputs at 4K60, and the SC710N1-L HDMI2.0 takes a single HDMI 2.0 input where one channel is enough.

Driver support covers Windows 11 and Linux 2.6.14 or higher, 32-bit and 64-bit. We supply the SC730N2-L HDMI2.0 fitted and tested in the host system it goes into, with drivers installed and both inputs checked before delivery.
