The SC730N2 M2 HDMI2.0 is Yuan's two-input M.2 HDMI video capture card for HDMI 2.0, taking two 4096 x 2160 sources at 60/50 fps with HDR10 and HLG and 10-bit color over PCIe x4 Gen3. It suits compact computers that record or stream two 4K HDMI sources from an M.2 socket.

SC730N2 M2 HDMI2.0 Overview

A small edge computer recording two 4K sources, such as a pair of camera feeds or a presenter and a slide output, often has an M.2 socket free but no room for a PCIe card. The SC730N2 M2 HDMI2.0 is Yuan’s two-input M.2 HDMI video capture card for HDMI 2.0, built for that kind of compact dual-channel 4K capture.

Each of the two HDMI 2.0 inputs takes up to 4096 x 2160 or 3840 x 2160 at 60, 50, 30, 25 or 24 fps, down through 1080p, 720p and standard definition timings to 576i. HDR10 and HLG are supported on input, with RGB or YUV 4:2:0, 4:2:2 and 4:4:4 sampling at 8 or 10-bit. Each input carries its own HDMI embedded stereo audio at 16-bit, 32 to 48 kHz.

The card is M-key M.2 on a PCIe x4 Gen3 link, cooled by a heatsink with three fans, with the two HDMI connectors on cable-linked breakout boards that can be mounted where the host has space. Yuan’s SDK covers DirectShow, V4L2, FFmpeg and GStreamer, with C++, C#, .NET, Visual Basic, Qt and Delphi. The SC730N2-L HDMI2.0 is the PCIe card version for hosts with a free slot, and the SC710N1 M2 HDMI2.0 is the single-input M.2 option where one 4K source is enough.

Yuan lists Windows 11 and Linux 2.6.14 or higher in 32-bit and 64-bit. We supply it tested in the host computer it goes into, with drivers installed and capture checked on the inputs you plan to use. The SC730N2 M2 HDMI2.0 is a good fit for dual-source 4K recording, streaming and inspection systems where the computer has to stay small.
