UB575 AIO Overview
Digitising archive material or capturing from a mix of cameras and computers often means juggling adapters for each connector type. The UB575 AIO is Yuan’s USB HDMI, SDI and DVI frame grabber, an all-in-one USB 3.0 unit that puts SDI, HDMI, DVI-I and three analog inputs in one place so a laptop or small PC can take in whichever source is connected.
One channel is captured at a time at up to 1920 x 1080 at 60 or 50 fps. Over USB 3.0 the card delivers NV12 or YUY2 video at 1920 x 1080, 1280 x 720, 720 x 576, 720 x 480 and 640 x 480 at 60, 50, 30 or 25 fps. Audio comes from SDI or HDMI embedded audio or two RCA inputs through the component cable, at 16-bit 48 kHz stereo.
The card connects through a USB 3.0 Type B port as a UVC device, so software that supports UVC capture can open it. On a USB 2.0 host it still captures 1280 x 720 at 30 fps in NV12, with SD formats at 50 or 60 fps. The UB570 PRO AIO adds the ProAV Scaler and 1920 x 1200 input, and the UB575G HDMI is the HDMI capture card with loop-through. Having SDI, HDMI and analog inputs on one card means a single unit covers broadcast cameras, laptops and older playback equipment.
Operating system support covers Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and 10 in 32-bit and 64-bit, Linux and macOS. The spread of inputs suits archive digitising, training capture and small production setups where the source equipment changes from job to job. A single USB cable to the host keeps it quick to move between a desk, a studio and a site visit.
