Advantech SKY-622G4 Dual Intel Xeon 6 MGX GPU Server with H200 NVL or RTX PRO 6000 GPUs

For large language models, GPU memory and GPU-to-GPU bandwidth usually set the limit before the CPU does. The Advantech SKY-622G4 is a 2U MGX GPU server built on the NVIDIA MGX modular design, taking four PCIe GPUs such as the H200 NVL or RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell, with NVLink bridge support between the cards.

Two Intel Xeon 6 processors on LGA4710 sockets run at up to 350 W each, with 32 DDR5-6400 RDIMM slots for up to 4 TB of memory. Storage is eight front E1.S NVMe bays on PCIe 5.0 plus two M.2 2280 NVMe slots, which keeps model weights and datasets close to the GPUs. An ASPEED AST2600 BMC provides IPMI management through a dedicated port.

Seven PCIe 5.0 x16 slots are split between the four double-width GPUs and three slots for NICs, SmartNICs or DPUs, so high-speed fabric cards can sit alongside the accelerators. On board are two 10GbE ports on an Intel X710-AT2 and two rear USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, with a front USB 2.0 port, COM port and VGA for local access at the rack.

Power is a 6000 W 3+1 redundant 80 PLUS Platinum supply, cooled by four 80 mm fans. The SKY-622G4 is 900 mm deep, weighs 35 kg and is rated 0 to 35 °C, so this MGX GPU server belongs in a full-depth data centre or server room rack.
