SKY-MXM-2000A Overview
Compact embedded systems that drive several displays or run vision models often have a tight power budget as well as limited space. The SKY-MXM-2000A is the NVIDIA RTX 2000 Ada Embedded from Advantech, an MXM GPU module in the standard MXM 3.1 Type A format, built on the Ada Lovelace AD107 GPU. It suits graphics, video and AI work in systems with an MXM 3.1 slot, at 60 W or 35 W depending on the build.
The GPU has 3,072 CUDA cores, 24 RT Cores and 96 Tensor Cores. At a 1,635 MHz base and 2,115 MHz boost clock it is rated at 12.99 TFLOPS FP32, and the low-power build runs at 930 MHz and 1,455 MHz for 8.94 TFLOPS. Memory is 8 GB of GDDR6 with ECC on a 128-bit interface at 256 GB/s. GPUDirect RDMA and GPUDirect for Video are supported, with unlimited encode sessions.
The SKY-MXM-2000A connects over MXM 3.1 with PCI Express Gen4 x8. SKY-MXM-2000A-8SDA is the 60 W discrete build with three DisplayPort 1.4a outputs at up to 4K 120 Hz or 8K 60 Hz with DSC, SKY-MXM-2000A-8SHA is the 60 W headless MS-Hybrid build, and SKY-MXM-2000A-8SLA is a 35 W discrete build with the same outputs. Cooling options are a standard fan cooler rated 0 °C to 40 °C, a high-CFM fan cooler rated 0 °C to 55 °C, or a heat spreader. Operation is 0 °C to 55 °C, dependent on CPU and cooler solution, with storage from -40 °C to 85 °C.
We supply the SKY-MXM-2000A tested, and fit, configure and burn-in test it in the MXM GPU computers we build, choosing the build and cooler for the enclosure. Advantech supports five years’ availability. The SKY-MXM-2000B is the Blackwell equivalent with ECC GDDR7 and PCIe Gen5, and the SKY-MXM-3500A is the 12 GB Ada Lovelace module in the larger Type B+ format.
