SKY-MXM-2000B Overview
Embedded vision and video systems often need ECC memory and fast data paths in a space too small for a PCIe card. The SKY-MXM-2000B is the NVIDIA RTX PRO 2000 Blackwell Embedded from Advantech, an MXM GPU module in the standard MXM 3.1 Type A format. It brings Blackwell compute with FP4 Tensor Cores, ECC GDDR7 and DisplayPort 2.1a to embedded systems with an MXM 3.1 slot, at up to 60 W.
The GB206 GPU has 3,328 CUDA cores, 104 RT Cores and 26 fifth-generation Tensor Cores, at a 1,522 MHz base and 2,070 MHz boost clock, for 13.78 TFLOPS FP32. Memory is 8 GB of GDDR7 with ECC on a 128-bit interface at 384 GB/s. GPUDirect RDMA and GPUDirect for Video are supported, which can shorten the path when frames move between capture hardware and the GPU, and the ninth-generation NVENC and sixth-generation NVDEC engines allow unlimited encode sessions.
The SKY-MXM-2000B connects over MXM 3.1 with PCI Express Gen5 x8 and draws up to 60 W. SKY-MXM-2000B-8HDA is the discrete build with three DisplayPort 2.1a outputs at up to 4K 240 Hz or 8K 60 Hz, with DP++ to HDMI 2.1b, and SKY-MXM-2000B-8HHA is the headless MS-Hybrid build. Cooling options are a standard fan cooler, a high-CFM fan cooler or a heat spreader. Operation is 0 °C to 55 °C, dependent on CPU and cooler solution, with storage from -40 °C to 85 °C.
We supply the SKY-MXM-2000B tested, and fit, configure and burn-in test it in the MXM GPU computers we build, choosing the cooler or heat spreader to suit the enclosure. Advantech supports five years’ availability. The SKY-MXM-500B is the 6 GB Blackwell module without ECC, and the SKY-MXM-2000A is the Ada Lovelace equivalent with 8 GB of GDDR6.
