SKY-QUAD-2000A-16 Overview
Control rooms, CAD stations and inspection systems often need four displays and a modest amount of GPU compute in a small chassis. The SKY-QUAD-2000A-16 is the NVIDIA RTX 2000 Ada from Advantech, a low-profile workstation GPU with 16 GB of GDDR6 and ECC at a 70 W maximum. Advantech lists the RTX Ada family for rendering, AI, graphics and compute, with professional application certification from independent software vendors.
The Ada Lovelace GPU has 2,816 CUDA cores, 88 fourth-generation Tensor Cores and 22 third-generation RT Cores, with single-precision performance rated at 12.0 TFLOPS. Memory runs on a 128-bit interface at 224 GB/s, and ECC protects long-running jobs from memory errors. Family features include AV1 encode and decode for video pipelines, NVIDIA GPUDirect RDMA support for moving data directly between network adapters and the GPU, and NVIDIA Mosaic for spanning several screens as one desktop.
The SKY-QUAD-2000A-16 connects over PCI Express 4.0 x8 and has four Mini DisplayPort 1.4a outputs, driving four 4096 x 2160 displays at 120 Hz, four at 5120 x 2880 at 60 Hz or two 7680 x 4320 displays at 60 Hz. It supports DirectX 12, Shader Model 6.6, OpenGL and Vulkan 1.3, with CUDA, DirectCompute and OpenCL. The datasheet lists no power connector or adapter cable, so the card runs within its 70 W maximum without an auxiliary cable. It is dual slot and low profile, with active cooling and a low-profile bracket in the accessory bag.
We supply each card tested, and we fit, configure and burn-in test the SKY-QUAD-2000A-16 in the compact and industrial GPU computers we build. The SKY-QUAD-4000SA-20 is the next low-profile Ada card, with 20 GB and 6,144 CUDA cores at the same 70 W, and the SKY-QUAD-2000B-16 is the Blackwell generation RTX PRO 2000 with 16 GB of GDDR7 on PCIe 5.0.
