SKY-QUAD-4000SA-20 Overview
Small-form-factor computers often have the room for a GPU but not the height or power cabling for a full-size card. The SKY-QUAD-4000SA-20 is the NVIDIA RTX 4000 SFF Ada from Advantech, a low-profile workstation graphics card with 20 GB of GDDR6 and ECC at a 70 W maximum. Advantech lists the RTX Ada family for rendering, AI, graphics and compute, with professional application certification from independent software vendors.
The Ada Lovelace GPU has 6,144 CUDA cores, the same count as the full-height RTX 4000 Ada, with 192 fourth-generation Tensor Cores and 48 third-generation RT Cores. At 70 W, single-precision performance is rated at 19.2 TFLOPS. Memory runs on a 160-bit interface at 280 GB/s. Family features include AV1 encode and decode, NVIDIA GPUDirect RDMA support and NVIDIA Mosaic for spanning several displays as one desktop.
The SKY-QUAD-4000SA-20 connects over PCI Express 4.0 x16 and has four Mini DisplayPort 1.4a outputs, driving four 4096 x 2160 displays at 120 Hz, four at 5120 x 2880 at 60 Hz or two 7680 x 4320 displays at 60 Hz. It supports DirectX 12, Shader Model 6.6, OpenGL and Vulkan 1.3, with CUDA, DirectCompute and OpenCL. The datasheet lists no power connector or adapter cable, so the card runs within its 70 W maximum without an auxiliary cable. It is dual slot and low profile, with active cooling and a low-profile bracket in the accessory bag.
We supply each card tested, and we fit, configure and burn-in test the SKY-QUAD-4000SA-20 in the compact and industrial GPU computers we build. The SKY-QUAD-4000A-20 runs the same GPU at 130 W on a single-slot, full-height card, the SKY-QUAD-2000A-16 is the 16 GB low-profile Ada card, and the SKY-QUAD-4000SB-24 is the Blackwell generation SFF card with 24 GB.
