Antaira FNP-0500G-T 5-Port Gigabit Unmanaged PoE Switch with 4x PoE+ (120W) and Extended Temperature

Shallow cabinets, small enclosures and on-vehicle enclosures rarely have the depth for a conventional DIN-rail switch, yet they still need to power and connect a handful of IP cameras. The FNP-0500G-T from Antaira is a flat-mount industrial hardened Gigabit PoE switch built for that kind of space: five RJ45 ports, four of them PoE+, rated -40 °C to 75 °C. Antaira names IP surveillance, traffic monitoring, security, transportation and telecom applications, including stand-alone camera networks on buses and trucks.

All five 10/100/1000Base-T RJ45 ports run at Gigabit, and four are IEEE 802.3af/at PSE ports supplying up to 30 W each. The total PoE budget is 120 W with a 56 V DC input and 100 W at 48 V DC, so at the higher voltage all four ports can run 30 W devices together. Switching is unmanaged and store-and-forward, on a 10 Gbps switching fabric with a 2K MAC address table, 9 KB jumbo frames and IEEE 802.3x flow control. There is nothing to set up.

Power arrives on dual redundant 48 to 56 V DC inputs, with an alarm relay contact rated 1 A at 24 V DC. Reverse polarity and overload current protection are built in, and the FNP-0500G-T draws 5 W at 48 V DC with no PoE load. Immunity is tested to IEC 61000-4-2, -4 and -5 for ESD, EFT and surge.

The FNP-0500G-T sits in an IP30 metal case for DIN rail or wall mounting. Shock, vibration and free fall are tested to EN 60068-2-27, EN 60068-2-6 and EN 60068-2-32. It complies with UL 60950-1 (MET) and carries LVD (EN 62368-1), CE and FCC Class A marks; Antaira lists it as TAA and NDAA compliant and covers it with Antaira’s 5-year warranty. Where a standard-depth DIN-rail switch fits, the GNP-0500G-T offers five Gigabit ports with four PoE+ ports from a 90 W budget, and the GNX-0500G-T is a non-PoE option for the same temperature range.
