Antaira LNP-1002G-SFP-T-CC 10-Port Gigabit Unmanaged Industrial PoE Switch with 8x PoE+, 2x SFP, Conformal Coating and Extended Temperature

Dust, moisture and corrosive gases attack a switch’s circuit board long before they trouble its metal case. The LNP-1002G-SFP-T-CC is Antaira’s conformal-coated, extended temperature version of its 10-port gigabit unmanaged PoE+ switch, with eight PoE+ copper ports and two SFP slots for fiber, rated -40 °C to 75 °C. Conformal coating is a film that follows the contours of the circuit board to protect it from adverse conditions, and Antaira states that its process meets or exceeds the standards for protection against gases, dust and water.

It has eight 10/100/1000Base-T RJ45 ports with IEEE 802.3at PoE+ at up to 30 W each, plus two 100/1000 dual-rate SFP slots, so the fiber type and reach follow the transceiver fitted. Switching is unmanaged and store-and-forward, on a 10 Gbps switching fabric with an 8K MAC address table, 9.6 KB jumbo frames, IEEE 802.3x flow control and auto MDI/MDI-X. There is nothing to set up, so the switch forwards traffic and powers devices as soon as it is switched on.

Power arrives on 48 to 55 V DC redundant inputs on a removable terminal block, so a second supply can take over if the first fails. Antaira gives full-load consumption with PoE as 210 W at 48 V DC and 250 W at 51 to 55 V DC. One relay output gives a power failure warning to a PLC or alarm panel. Surge protection to 2,000 V DC and ESD protection to 6,000 V DC are built in, with reverse polarity and overload current protection.

The LNP-1002G-SFP-T-CC operates from -40 °C to 75 °C in an IP30 metal case for DIN-rail mounting, with an optional wall-mount kit. Shock and vibration are rated to IEC 60068-2-27 and IEC 60068-2-6. Antaira lists it as UL Class 1 Division 2 and UL 61010-1 certified, with CE and FCC marks and RoHS compliance, and it is covered by Antaira’s 5-year warranty. The LNP-1002G-SFP-T is the uncoated switch at the same rating, the LNP-1002G-SFP-24-T runs from 12 to 55 V DC, and the LNP-0800G-24-T-CC is a coated eight-port gigabit PoE+ switch without fiber.
