Antaira LNP-1002G-SFP 10-Port Gigabit Unmanaged Industrial Network Switches with 8x PoE+ (240W), 2x SFP and Extended Temperature Options

Eight gigabit PoE+ devices and two fiber uplinks cover a lot of cabinet networks, from a single run back to the core to a simple chain of enclosures along a cable route. The Antaira LNP-1002G-SFP series is sized for that: industrial unmanaged PoE+ switches with eight gigabit PoE+ ports and two dual-rate SFP slots on a 20 Gbps switching fabric, in a slim IP30 metal case for a DIN rail.

Every LNP-1002G-SFP switch has eight 10/100/1000Base-T RJ45 ports with IEEE 802.3af/at PoE+ at up to 30 W each, plus two 100/1000 dual-rate SFP slots, so the fiber type and reach follow the transceiver fitted. Switching is unmanaged and store-and-forward on a 20 Gbps fabric with an 8K MAC address table, 9.6 KB jumbo frames, so the switches pass traffic and power devices with no set-up. Power arrives on 48 to 55 V DC redundant inputs on a removable terminal block. The PoE budget is 200 W at 48 V DC and 240 W at 55 V DC, so a 55 V supply runs all eight ports at 30 W together. One relay output gives a power failure warning, and antaira builds in high EFT and ESD protection against unregulated voltage, with reverse polarity and overload current protection on the input.

The series comes in two temperature builds. The LNP-1002G-SFP is the standard build, rated -10 °C to 70 °C, for heated or indoor cabinets. The LNP-1002G-SFP-T is the extended temperature build, rated -40 °C to 75 °C, for unheated outdoor enclosures and other sites that see hard frosts. Both share the same ports, power input and PoE budget. A conformal-coated version of the extended temperature build is listed separately as the LNP-1002G-SFP-T-CC.

Antaira designs the series for rugged, harsh industrial environments. The LNP-1002G-SFP series is housed in an IP30 metal case for DIN-rail mounting, with wall-mount hardware included, and is rated for shock to IEC 60068-2-27 and vibration to IEC 60068-2-6. Antaira lists the series as UL Class 1 Division 2 and UL 61010-1 certified, with CE and FCC marks and RoHS compliance, and both builds carry Antaira’s 5-year warranty. In practice, the choice between the two builds comes down to the coldest temperature the installation will see.
