Antaira LNX-1002G-SFP 10-Port Gigabit Unmanaged DIN Rail Switches with 2x SFP and Extended Temperature Options

Eight gigabit devices and a pair of fiber uplinks covers a large share of industrial cabinets, from a machine line to a field enclosure at the edge of a site. The Antaira LNX-1002G-SFP series is built for that layout: industrial gigabit unmanaged Ethernet switches with eight copper ports and two SFP slots, which Antaira positions for harsh environments and industrial applications. There is no management interface and nothing to configure, so the switch forwards traffic as soon as it is powered, and every copper port runs at full gigabit for cameras, HMIs and controllers.

Every LNX-1002G-SFP shares the same design. The eight 10/100/1000Base-T RJ45 ports support auto negotiation and auto MDI/MDI-X, and the two dual-rate SFP slots take 100 or 1000 Mbps transceivers, so fiber mode and reach follow the modules chosen. Switching is unmanaged and store-and-forward on a 20 Gbps fabric, enough for every port at line rate, with an 8K MAC table, 9.6 KB jumbo frames and IEEE 802.3x flow control. Power arrives on 12 to 48 V DC redundant inputs with a 12 W draw, high EFT and ESD protection guard against unregulated voltage, and a relay output rated 24 V DC, 1 A signals a power failure.

The series has two builds. The LNX-1002G-SFP is the standard temperature model, rated -10 °C to 70 °C for heated or indoor cabinets. The LNX-1002G-SFP-T is the extended temperature model, rated -40 °C to 75 °C for unheated and outdoor enclosures. Both share ports, power input and approvals. Where the uplinks need 10G, the LNX-1002G-10G-SFP keeps eight gigabit copper ports and adds two 10G SFP+ slots.

Both LNX-1002G-SFP models come in an IP30 metal case with DIN-rail and wall mounting hardware included, and follow IEC 60068-2-27 shock and IEC 60068-2-6 vibration testing. Antaira lists UL Class 1, Division 2 and UL 61010-1 certification, with FCC and CE marks and RoHS compliance, and covers the series with its 5-year warranty. The LNX-1002G-SFP series is a good fit wherever eight gigabit devices share a cabinet and the uplinks need fiber. In practice, the two SFP slots let one switch serve a short multi-mode run inside a building or a long single-mode link to another site, depending on the transceivers fitted.
