Arestech BPC-3064 Intel Celeron J6412 Fanless IoT Gateways with 4x COM and GbE or 2.5GbE

Gateways in embedded control systems, factory automation, robotic control and data collection sit between serial machines and the network, usually in a cabinet with no airflow. The Arestech BPC-3064 series is built for that job: a family of fanless IoT gateways on the Intel Celeron J6412 (Elkhart Lake) at up to 2.6 GHz, with four COM ports on every model and a choice of network and display layouts.

Every BPC-3064 shares the same core. Two DDR4 3200 SO-DIMM sockets take up to 32 GB in dual channel, and storage combines a 2.5″ SATA SSD bay with an M.2 M-Key 2280 slot carrying PCIe x2 and SATA III. Serial I/O is two RS-232/422/485 and two RS-232 ports on DB9, and a full-size mini-PCIe slot sits alongside a Nano-SIM socket. Windows 11 IoT and Linux are supported, and Intel UHD Graphics drives two displays on both models.

The series offers two builds. The BPC-3064-1A1 has two GbE ports on Intel i210-AT controllers, two HDMI outputs at up to 4096 x 2160, four USB 3.2 Gen 1 and two USB 2.0 ports, line-out audio and a 12 to 36 V DC input, with the mini-PCIe slot taking an optional 4G module. The BPC-3064-2A1 moves to two 2.5GbE ports on Intel i226-V, one HDMI plus one VGA output at up to 1920 x 1200 for an existing monitor, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 and four USB 2.0 ports and a 9 to 24 V DC input. It adds an M.2 B-Key 3042/3052 slot with SIM for an optional 4G or 5G module, leaving the mini-PCIe slot for optional Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

Both models take power through a DC jack or two-pin terminal block with AT and ATX modes. The fanless aluminum and SECC chassis runs from -20 °C to 60 °C with 0 to 90% humidity, is tested to 5 Grms vibration under IEC 60068-2-64 and 50 G shock under IEC 60068-2-27, carries CE and FCC Class A marks and wall mounts. Optional items include 60 W adapters, 4G modules and Wi-Fi/Bluetooth cards. Where the gateway has to sit on a DIN rail instead of a wall, the CB-2264 offers a closely matched J6412 I/O set in a slim upright chassis.
