Arestech PPC-Z2112 21.5" Full HD Stainless Steel Panel PCs with Intel Core i5-1235U and IP66/IP69K

Food and beverage processing areas often need a large, clear overview screen at the line, sealed well enough to be hosed down with the rest of the equipment. The Arestech PPC-Z2112 series is built for that routine: 21.5 inch stainless steel panel PCs in SUS304 stainless steel, with SUS316L as an option, a flat front that is easy to clean and full-system IP66/IP69K sealing, with every external connection on an M12 connector.

Every PPC-Z2112 panel PC shares the same build. The Intel Core i5-1235U runs at up to 4.4 GHz, with the Core i3-1215UE as an option, on dual-channel DDR4 3200 for up to 64 GB, with an internal SSD bay supporting SATA RAID 0/1 and an M.2 2280 M-Key socket with PCIe Gen 4 x4 or SATA. Networking is two 2.5GbE ports on Intel I226-V controllers, alongside two RS-232/422/485 ports, one USB 3.2 Gen 2 port and two USB 2.0 ports, all on M12 connectors. The 21.5″ Full HD display runs at 1920 x 1080 (16:9) with 250 nits, 5000:1 contrast and 178° horizontal and vertical viewing angles. A front USB 3.2 Gen 2 port on an IP67 connector and a built-in 13.56 MHz RFID reader for Mifare and FeliCa card UIDs complete the I/O.

The PPC-Z2112 series offers two touch options. The PPC-Z2112PW has projected capacitive touch with a 7 Mohs surface and 90% transparency, which wipes clean easily, and the PPC-Z2112RW has 5-wire resistive touch, which responds to pressure and so usually works through gloves. Power is 9 to 36 V DC on an M12 connector with AT and ATX modes. The PPC-Z2112 panel PCs operate from -10 °C to 60 °C at 10 to 95% humidity, are tested to IEC 60068-2-64 vibration and IEC 60068-2-27 shock, and carry CE and FCC Class A marks. They run Windows 11 IoT or Professional or Linux, mount on VESA, a yoke or a wall with optional kits, and take optional wireless modules in a Mini-PCIe socket with a SIM slot.
