Arestech PPC-Z2112RW 21.5″ Full HD Resistive Stainless Steel Panel PC with Intel Core i5-1235U, Dual 2.5GbE and IP66/IP69K

Food and beverage processing areas often need a large, clear overview screen at the line, sealed well enough to be hosed down with the rest of the equipment. The PPC-Z2112RW is the 5-wire resistive build in the Arestech PPC-Z2112 series: a 21.5 inch stainless steel panel PC sealed to IP66 and IP69K as a whole system, with a flat front and touch that responds to pressure, so it usually works through gloves.

The Intel Core i5-1235U runs at up to 4.4 GHz, with the Core i3-1215UE as an option, on dual-channel DDR4 3200 across two SO-DIMM sockets for up to 64 GB. Operating system support covers Windows 11 IoT or Professional and Linux. Storage is an internal SSD bay with SATA RAID 0/1 plus an M.2 2280 M-Key socket with PCIe Gen 4 x4 or SATA, with firmware TPM and an optional TPM 2.0 module. The 21.5″ Full HD display runs at 1920 x 1080 (16:9) with 250 nits, 5000:1 contrast and 178° horizontal and vertical viewing angles.

Every external connection is on a sealed M12 connector: two 2.5GbE ports on Intel I226-V controllers, two RS-232/422/485 ports, one USB 3.2 Gen 2 port and two USB 2.0 ports. A front IP67 USB 3.2 Gen 2 port takes a memory stick. A built-in 13.56 MHz RFID reader reads Mifare and FeliCa card UIDs, which suits card-based operator log-in. A full-size Mini-PCIe socket with a SIM slot and an M.2 2230 E-Key socket take optional wireless modules. The PPC-Z2112PW is the same build with projected capacitive touch, and the PPC-Z2164RW pairs the same screen and sealing with the Celeron J6412 for lighter workloads.

Power is 9 to 36 V DC on M12 with AT and ATX modes. The PPC-Z2112RW runs from -10 °C to 60 °C at 10 to 95% humidity, is tested to IEC 60068-2-64 vibration and 15 G IEC 60068-2-27 shock, and carries CE and FCC Class A marks. SUS316L is optional, and VESA, yoke and wall mounts use optional kits. We supply it configured, with the OS installed, and tested before it ships.
