ASRock Industrial iBOX 1300/D4 Series 13th Gen Intel Core Raptor Lake Fanless NUC Computers with Dual 2.5GbE

Many control cabinets, kiosks and equipment rooms have no clean airflow, so a fan soon becomes the part that fails first. A sealed aluminum case with no moving parts avoids that, provided the processor inside stays within what passive cooling can handle. The ASRock Industrial iBOX 1300/D4 series is built around that balance: fanless embedded PCs that pair 15 W class 13th Gen Intel Core UE processors with a finned aluminum case measuring 171.8 x 50.05 x 109.45 mm.

Every model in the iBOX 1300/D4 series shares the same board and I/O. Memory is DDR4 3200 in two 260-pin SO-DIMM sockets, up to 64 GB in dual channel, which keeps memory costs predictable for fleets that already stock DDR4. An M.2 Key M socket takes a PCIe Gen4 x4 NVMe SSD from 2242 to 2280, with a SATA3 port alongside, and an M.2 Key E 2230 socket with PCIe x1, USB 2.0 and CNVi takes a wireless module. Two Intel I226LM 2.5GbE ports, a USB4/Thunderbolt 4 port, five USB 3.2 Gen2 ports, two USB 2.0 ports and a DB9 RS-232 port cover most peripherals, and HDMI 2.0b plus three DisplayPort 1.4a outputs, two of them over USB-C, drive up to four screens at up to 4096 x 2160 at 60 Hz.

The range has three processor options. The iBOX-1315UE/D4 uses the Core i3-1315UE with two performance and four efficient cores and Intel UHD Graphics, for signage, HMI and data logging. The iBOX-1335UE/D4 moves to the Core i5-1335UE with ten cores, Intel Iris Xe Graphics and Intel vPro with AMT for remote management. The iBOX-1365UE/D4 has the Core i7-1365UE, also with ten cores, Iris Xe and vPro, for heavier multi-display and analytics workloads.

These fanless embedded PCs run from 0 °C to 40 °C on 12 to 19 V DC, with AT or ATX power-on modes so a unit can start as soon as power returns. TPM 2.0, a hardware watchdog and Windows 10 and 11 support come as standard, the series carries CE and FCC compliance, and ASRock Industrial lists VESA and wall mounting, with DIN rail by request. In practice the iBOX 1300/D4 series suits indoor cabinets, kiosks, retail displays and machine-side control where DDR4 memory and quiet passive cooling matter more than an extended temperature range.
