Avalue EPX-EHLP-J6413-A1R 2.5″ Pico-ITX SBC with Intel Celeron J6413, 2.5GbE and 4K DisplayPort

Some embedded designs leave only a palm-sized space for the computer, yet still need a proper memory socket, two networks and a 4K display. The EPX-EHLP-J6413-A1R is the Celeron J6413 build in the Avalue EPX-EHLP series: a 2.5 inch Pico-ITX SBC, also called a Pico-ITX motherboard, measuring 100 x 72 mm with the processor mounted on the underside.

The Intel Celeron J6413 is an Elkhart Lake Celeron J Series processor. One 260-pin SO-DIMM socket takes up to 32 GB of DDR4-2666, which is unusual on a board this size. Intel UHD Graphics drive a dual-deck DisplayPort, one DP and one DP++, to 4096 x 2160 at 60 Hz, plus a single-channel 18/24-bit LVDS at 1920 x 1080 through a Chrontel converter for a built-in panel.

I/O covers one 2.5GbE port on an Intel i226LM and one Gigabit Ethernet port on an Intel I211, two USB 3.1 Gen2 ports at the edge plus four USB 2.0 on headers, one RS-232 and one RS-232/422/485 port, and 4-bit GPIO. One M.2 B key (2242/2260) takes an SSD over SATA III or PCIe, with USB 3.1 Gen1 and USB 2.0 signals. The EPX-EHLP-J6412-A1R is the same board with a Celeron J6412, and the EPX-EHLP-X13E-A1R is the Atom x6413E build with IBECC memory support.

Power is a single 12 V DC input with AT and ATX modes. Hardware monitoring watches system temperature and voltage with automatic throttling, and a hardware watchdog resets the board if software stops responding. The board weighs 0.3 kg. The operating temperature range depends on the processor fitted, so ask us to confirm it for your build.
