Axiomtek AIE110-ONA-8GB NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano 8GB Edge AI Developer Kit with PoE and Mini PCIe

Vision prototypes that run detection and tracking together, or more than one camera stream, usually need the 8 GB memory tier of the Orin Nano. The AIE110-ONA-8GB fits the NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano 8GB module to the Axiomtek AIE110-ONA edge AI developer kit, a small enclosed unit that suits bench development and early pilot installs.

The Orin Nano 8GB has a 1024-core NVIDIA Ampere GPU with 32 Tensor Cores, a 6-core Arm Cortex-A78AE CPU and 8 GB of 128-bit LPDDR5, rated at 40 TOPS. Axiomtek supports Super Mode on JetPack 6.2 and above, which takes the Orin Nano to up to 67 TOPS. The AIE110-ONA-4GB carries the 4GB module at 20 TOPS for lighter single-camera work, with the same enclosure and I/O. Because the Orin Nano has no eMMC, the AIE110-ONA-8GB boots from an NVMe SSD in the M.2 Key M 2280 slot at PCIe x4.

Networking is one GbE port from the module and one Intel I210-IT GbE port with IEEE 802.3af PoE at up to 15 W, so a single camera can draw power from the unit. One USB 3.2 Gen2 port, one USB 2.0 port and an HDMI output sit on the front, with an 8-channel programmable digital I/O header for triggers and indicators. A full-size Mini PCIe slot with a SIM slot accepts Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LTE or GPS modules for sites without wired backhaul.

The AIE110-ONA-8GB takes 12 V DC on a screw-type jack, uses an active heatsink and is rated from -10 to +60 °C, with 3 Grms vibration and 50 G shock tested with an SSD fitted. Axiomtek lists JetPack 5.1.1 or later and Ubuntu 20.04 or later, with a front micro USB port and recovery switch for flashing. Allxon support gives remote monitoring, control and over-the-air updates for deployed units.
