Axiomtek AIE110-ONA NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano Edge AI Developer Kits with PoE and NVMe

Most Jetson Orin Nano projects begin on a bench with one camera, a model in training and no fixed idea of the final enclosure. The Axiomtek AIE110-ONA series is a palm-sized edge AI developer kit built for that stage: the Orin Nano module is fitted, the I/O covers a camera, a network and a display, and the enclosed unit is small enough to move from desk to pilot site.

Axiomtek builds the AIE110-ONA around its SBC87903 carrier board inside a small enclosure. The Orin Nano has no eMMC, so an NVMe SSD in the M.2 Key M 2280 slot at PCIe x4 is the boot device and the main store. One GbE port comes from the module and a second, on an Intel I210-IT controller, supplies IEEE 802.3af PoE at up to 15 W, enough to run one IP camera from the unit. A full-size Mini PCIe slot with a SIM slot adds Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LTE or GPS, and an 8-channel programmable digital I/O header handles triggers and indicators. A front micro USB port and recovery switch make JetPack flashing quick, and Axiomtek supports Super Mode on JetPack 6.2 and above.

The range has two variants. The AIE110-ONA-4GB carries the Orin Nano 4GB with a 512-core Ampere GPU, 16 Tensor Cores and 4 GB of LPDDR5 at 20 TOPS, for single-camera work and early model trials. The AIE110-ONA-8GB carries the Orin Nano 8GB with a 1024-core GPU, 32 Tensor Cores and 8 GB of LPDDR5 at 40 TOPS, or up to 67 TOPS in Super Mode, for multi-model pipelines. Both use the same enclosure and I/O, so code moves between them without change.

AIE110-ONA developer kits suit vision prototyping, retail analytics trials, robotics development and teaching labs. They run from 12 V DC on a screw-type jack, use an active heatsink and are rated from -10 to +60 °C, with 3 Grms vibration and 50 G shock tested with an SSD fitted. Axiomtek lists JetPack 5.1.1 or later with Ubuntu 20.04 or later, CE certification and Allxon support for remote monitoring, control and over-the-air updates. When a design is ready for deployment, the same Orin Nano modules are available in Axiomtek’s enclosed AIE100-ONA.
