Axiomtek AIE110-XNX NVIDIA Jetson Xavier NX 8GB Edge AI Developer Kit with PoE, eMMC and microSD

Projects already built on Xavier NX software often need more units for testing or a pilot without porting the application to Orin first. The AIE110-XNX is an Axiomtek edge AI developer kit that ships with the NVIDIA Jetson Xavier NX module fitted, in an enclosed, palm-sized unit for bench work and pilot installs.

The Xavier NX delivers 21 TOPS from a 384-core NVIDIA Volta GPU with 48 Tensor Cores and a 6-core NVIDIA Carmel Arm v8.2 CPU, with 8 GB of 128-bit LPDDR4x. Unlike the Orin builds in the AIE110-ONA and AIE110-ONX series, the module carries 16 GB of eMMC, which is the boot device on the AIE110-XNX. An M.2 Key M 2280 NVMe slot at PCIe x4 and a UHS-I microSD slot add data storage. Axiomtek lists JetPack 4.6.2 or later with Ubuntu 18.04 or later.

The AIE110-XNX has one GbE port from the module and one Intel I210-IT GbE port that supplies IEEE 802.3af PoE at up to 15 W for a single camera. HDMI 2.0 supports up to 4096 x 2160 at 60 Hz, and one USB 3.2 Gen2 and one USB 2.0 port handle peripherals. An 8-channel programmable digital I/O header connects triggers and indicators, and a full-size Mini PCIe slot with a SIM slot accepts Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LTE or GPS modules.

The AIE110-XNX takes 12 V DC on a screw-type jack, uses an active heatsink and is rated from -10 to +60 °C, with 3 Grms vibration and 50 G shock tested with an SSD fitted. Axiomtek’s datasheet lists Jetson Xavier NX availability through to 2026, so new designs usually move to the Orin NX or Orin Nano builds of the same developer kit. Allxon support adds remote monitoring and over-the-air updates.
