Axiomtek AX92325-4GbE 4 Port PCI Express Gigabit Ethernet NIC Network Adapter Card with M12 Connectors

The AX92325-4GbE is the four-port build without PoE in the Axiomtek AX92325 series, a multi-port LAN card with four Gigabit M12 X-coded ports, each on its own Intel i210-AT controller, and a PCI Express x4 interface. It suits vision and surveillance systems with several externally powered devices.

  • Four M12 X-Coded Ports: Four Gigabit ports on M12 X-coded connectors give locking links for devices on moving equipment.
  • One Controller Per Port: Four Intel i210-AT controllers run at 10/100/1000 Mbps, so every device has its own controller.
  • Single-Slot Connector Design: A patented layout stops the four M12 connectors from taking up the space of other slots.
  • Jumbo Frames and IEEE 1588: 9.5KB jumbo frames and IEEE 1588 support large image packets and a shared network clock.
  • 0 to +60 °C With Air Flow: The series runs from 0 to +60 °C with air flow and supports Windows 7 and 10.

AX92325-4GbE Overview

A machine with four network cameras or sensors on locking cables needs four separate Gigabit links without a bulky card. The AX92325-4GbE is the four-port build without PoE in the Axiomtek AX92325 series, a Gigabit Ethernet card with M12 X-coded connectors. Axiomtek designed the series for machine vision and surveillance systems, and we specify it for the industrial PCs we supply.

The card carries four independent Gigabit ports on M12 X-coded connectors, each with its own Intel i210-AT controller at 10/100/1000 Mbps. The controllers support 9.5KB jumbo frames and IEEE 1588. Axiomtek’s patented connector design keeps the four M12 connectors from taking up the space of other slots, and the host interface is PCI Express x4, which gives the four controllers room to run side by side.

This build has no PoE, so each connected device takes power from its own supply. Axiomtek states the card integrates with its industrial PCs, ATX motherboards and embedded systems. The AX92325-4PoE adds IEEE 802.3at PoE to the same four ports, and the AX92322-4GbE gives four Gigabit ports on RJ45 connectors for fixed installations. Our IEEE 1588 PTP guide explains multi-camera timing.

Axiomtek’s power figures cover the PoE builds, so we confirm supply needs for this card when we specify it. The series operates from 0 to +60 °C with air flow and stores from -20 to +80 °C, at 10 to 95% humidity, non-condensing. The board measures 168 x 111 mm, and Axiomtek lists Windows 7 and 10 (32/64-bit) support. Plan air flow across the heat sink when the card sits in a sealed enclosure.
