Cincoze DI-1100 Intel 8th Gen Core Whiskey Lake Rugged Fanless PCs with CMI and CFM Expansion and Extended Temperature

Computers in vehicles, robots and roadside or trackside cabinets fail for predictable reasons, from fans clogging with dust to supply spikes and cold mornings below freezing. The Cincoze DI-1100 series answers with a sealed, fanless extruded aluminum chassis, a 9-48 V DC input with surge protection and a -40 °C to 70 °C rating. Cincoze aims it at transport, logistics, security and IoT deployments where space is short and maintenance visits are expensive. Wall, side, DIN rail and VESA mounting options let the same system fit a vehicle bulkhead, a control panel or the back of a display.

Every DI-1100 shares the same board and I/O. One DDR4 SO-DIMM socket takes up to 32GB, Intel UHD Graphics 620 drives HDMI, DisplayPort and VGA outputs as three independent displays, and two GbE ports run on Intel I219LM and I210AT controllers. Six USB ports split into two USB 3.2 Gen 2, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 and two USB 2.0, with two RS-232/422/485 ports, a PS/2 port and audio. Storage is a front-access 2.5-inch SATA bay plus an mSATA socket with RAID 0 or 1, and two full-size mini PCIe sockets with two front SIM slots take Wi-Fi and 4G modules.

The series splits by processor. The DI-1100-i7 uses the Intel Core i7-8665UE with four cores at up to 4.4 GHz for vision and multi-application work. The DI-1100-i5 uses the Intel Core i5-8365UE, also quad-core, for logging, gateway and analytics duties. The DI-1100-i3 uses the dual-core Intel Core i3-8145UE for control and HMI roles. All three run within a 15 W processor budget, so the chassis cools them without a fan.

Expansion is where the DI-1100 differs from a fixed box PC. Two CMI interfaces accept optional modules with four GbE, four 2.5GbE or four M12 A-coded or X-coded LAN ports, two 10GbE ports, CAN FD, extra serial ports or 16-channel DIO, and the CFM interface takes a four-port PoE module or ignition sensing for vehicles. Cincoze lists MIL-STD-810G shock and vibration, E-Mark, EN 50121-3-2 railway EMC compliance and CE, UKCA and FCC marks, with Windows 10 support and Linux by project.
