DFI ARS101 Intel Core Ultra 200S LGA 1851 Thin Mini-ITX Motherboards with W880, Q870 or H810 Chipset and 12 V DC Input
The DFI ARS101 series is a family of Thin Mini-ITX motherboards for Intel Core Ultra 200S (Arrow Lake-S) processors in the LGA 1851 socket, from the 10-core Core Ultra 5 225T to the 24-core Core Ultra 9 285, on a 12 V DC input. Every board carries dual 2.5GbE, two DDR5 SO-DIMMs up to 96 GB, a PCIe x16 slot and four M.2 slots. The ARS101 series suits slim panel PCs, kiosks, medical carts and compact vision enclosures.
- Intel Core Ultra 200S on LGA 1851: Socketed Arrow Lake-S processors from the 10-core Core Ultra 5 225T to the 24-core Core Ultra 9 285, at up to 65 W TDP.
- Thin Mini-ITX at 170 x 170 mm: A low-profile Thin Mini-ITX board for slim enclosures, panel PCs and kiosks where the height above the board is limited.
- Dual 2.5GbE and DDR5: Two 2.5GbE ports on Intel I226 controllers and two DDR5 SO-DIMMs in dual channel, holding up to 96 GB.
- PCIe x16 and Four M.2 Slots: A PCIe x16 slot for a graphics or capture card, plus M.2 M, B, E and A keys for NVMe, cellular, Wi-Fi and display modules.
- 12 V DC Input: A single 12 V DC input on a barrel jack or 4-pin connector, -5 to 65 °C operation and CE, FCC, UKCA and RoHS compliance.

ARS101 Description
A slim enclosure or panel PC leaves little height above the board, yet the application inside may still need a current desktop processor, a graphics or capture card and several displays. The DFI ARS101 series answers that with a Thin Mini-ITX motherboard, 170 x 170 mm, built around the LGA 1851 socket for Intel Core Ultra 200S (Arrow Lake-S) processors and powered from a single 12 V DC input.
Because the processor is socketed, it is chosen per project rather than fixed by the board. DFI lists the Core Ultra 9 285 and 285T with 24 cores, the Core Ultra 7 265 and 265T with 20, the Core Ultra 5 245 and 245T with 14 and the Core Ultra 5 225 and 225T with 10, at up to 65 W TDP, or 35 W for the T parts. Two DDR5 SO-DIMMs run in dual channel up to 96 GB, at up to 6400 MHz with Core Ultra 7 and 9 processors. Integrated Intel graphics drives HDMI 1.4b and DP++ outputs at 4K, and DFI’s optional M2A module on the M.2 A-key adds an eDP or LVDS panel.
Three chipset builds make up the range. ARS101-W880 uses the Intel W880 chipset with ECC memory support, Intel AMT on the I226-LM port, a USB-C display output and a PCIe x16 Gen5 slot that splits into two x8 links. ARS101-Q870 keeps AMT, USB-C display and the bifurcating Gen5 slot on the Q870 chipset, with six rear USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports and non-ECC memory. ARS101-H810 is the H810 build for simpler designs, with HDMI and DP++, a PCIe x16 slot, a mix of USB 3.2 Gen 1 and USB 2.0 ports and an M.2 M-key at PCIe x1.
Every board has two 2.5GbE ports on Intel I226 controllers, two internal RS-232/422/485 headers, 8-bit DIO, two SATA 3.0 ports and four M.2 sockets: an M-key for an NVMe or SATA SSD, a B-key with a Nano SIM slot for a cellular module, a 2230 E-key for Wi-Fi and the A-key for the display module. Realtek ALC888 audio, a Nuvoton TPM 2.0 and a watchdog programmable from 1 to 255 seconds complete the board.
Power arrives on a barrel jack or a 4-pin connector at 12 V DC. The ARS101 series operates from -5 to 65 °C and carries CE, FCC, UKCA and RoHS compliance, with support for Windows 10 and Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC and Ubuntu 24.04. Where the supply is 24 V or less tightly regulated, the ARS103 series is the same board on a 12 to 28 V DC input.
