DFI VCX700-MTH Intel Core Ultra 5/7 IP67 Waterproof Computer with M12 2.5GbE and -20 to 70 °C

Some computers live outside the cab, on a trailer, sprayer or work boat, where water and dust are part of the job. The VCX700-MTH is a DFI IP67 waterproof computer for those places, with an Intel Core Ultra processor, M12 networking and power, and sealed I/O on the underside. DFI offers two processors, the Core Ultra 7 155U and Core Ultra 5 125U, both with 12 cores at 15 W. Memory is dual-channel LPDDR5/x-6400 soldered down, up to 32 GB (64 GB on request), and storage is an M.2 M-key SSD, 256 GB as standard with 128 GB or 512 GB by project. Intel Arc graphics handle HEVC, VP9, AV1 and AVC encode and decode, and the Intel NPU suits light on-device AI. DFI out-of-band (OOB) management gives remote power on/off, reset and BIOS update over the network, without an OS agent. It runs Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2024 or Linux.

Networking is two 2.5GbE ports (Intel I226IT) on M12 X-coded connectors. Two RS-232 ports and two CAN FD ports share one combo connector, supplied with a breakout cable, and four USB 3.2 ports deliver up to 10 W each. HDMI 1.4b and a SIM slot sit on the side. Inside, an M.2 3052 B-key slot takes an optional LTE or 5G module and an M.2 2230 E-key slot takes optional Wi-Fi, with six antenna connectors on top. A 9-axis IMU adds motion and heading data.

Power is 9 to 36 V DC with ignition control on an M12 D-coded connector. The VCX700-MTH runs from -20 °C to 70 °C, with -40 °C to 70 °C available by request, is vibration tested to MIL-STD-810G 514.6 and wall mounts; DFI lists CE, FCC Class A and RoHS. We supply it configured and tested, with the SSD, OS image, any Wi-Fi or 5G module and antennas fitted.
