JB-FLDSC-BASE-02 Overview
Teams that deploy Jetson at scale often buy modules separately and flash their own image, so a finished enclosure and carrier without a module is the useful part. The Diamond Systems JB-FLDSC-BASE-02 is a DIN rail embedded PC kit in the JETBOX FLOYD-SC series that includes the Floyd SC carrier board, enclosure and every other component except the Jetson module, in a fanless steel and aluminum enclosure with shelf and DIN rail mounting.
The kit takes any Nano-size Jetson module: Jetson Nano, TX2 NX or Xavier NX. The module is not included, and system assembly and operating system programming are needed before use, so the kit suits teams that already hold modules or have their own JetPack build process.
The front panel of the JB-FLDSC-BASE-02 carries HDMI and DisplayPort, one Gigabit Ethernet port, with a second port when a Xavier NX module is fitted, one USB 3.0 and two USB 2.0 ports, one RS-232 port and one RS-232/485 port on DB9, and eight GPIO lines on an 11-position screw terminal block that can run at 3.3 V or 5 V. An internal M.2 NVMe socket adds up to 2 TB of storage beyond the module’s flash, for video, logs or data sets.
Power on the JB-FLDSC-BASE-02 is a 7-24 V DC input, and a 12 V AC adapter is included for bench work. The integrated heat sink cover cools the module without a fan, and the system supports -25 to +80 °C operation across the full range of the Jetson modules. For the same hardware with a module installed and Linux preprogrammed, see the JB-FLDSC-NAO-02, the JB-FLDSC-TNX-02 or the JB-FLDSC-XNX-02.

Official Diamond Systems USA Distributor
Things Embedded is an official Diamond Systems USA distributor, supplying the JB-FLDSC-BASE-02 as a kit or fully built with a Jetson module, storage and Linux image installed. The JB-FLDSC-BASE-01 is the matching kit built on the FLDSC-BB01 carrier, and the JETBOX-FLOYD offers a larger box with PoE+ for Nano and Xavier NX. Within the JETBOX FLOYD-SC range, the Nano, TX2 NX and Xavier NX builds share the same enclosure, front panel and Floyd SC BB02 carrier, so moving up a module later keeps the same mounting, cabling and screw-terminal wiring in the cabinet.
Across our range, the JB-FLDSC-BASE-02 sits with our DIN rail PCs and our NVIDIA Jetson carrier boards for teams building their own Jetson systems. It suits OEMs and integrators who hold their own Jetson modules and flash a standard image, and want the same enclosure and carrier on every unit they build. Its 7-24 V DC input and small footprint let it share a rail with existing PLCs, relays and power supplies.
